Real Ales

The Baum has always supported local breweries and offered an ever-changing range of guest ales. The Baum has featured in The Good Beer Guide 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010 - one of only a handful of pubs in Rochdale to be included.

The Baum regularly hosts themed mini beer festivals, such as 'The War of the Roses', 'Vicars and Tarts' and 'Burns' Night'. During the festivals (which usually run from Thursday to Sunday), card carrying CAMRA members are elligible for a discount on festival ales on Thusday and Sunday.
